So after the hectic 2 weeks: doing finals, moving out, cleaning, attending my graduation, having graduation party and going to my first week of summer classes *sigh*, my life has finally settled down a bit. However, I know for a FACT that this summer will NOT be boring.
First of all, I got a new car. For those of you who have been reading my blog, I blogged about my new Corolla 2 years ago (June 25, 2006). Well, my sister took my car down to San Diego so my mom got me a new 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid. It’s light blue/baby blue/sky blue. It looks silver sometimes, but it’s really blue. I love it! I’ve already wanted this color for my car. It might not be a nice color to some people, but I saw it on a Lexus and it was beautiful. Anyway, so it has some extra options, such as, bluetooth (but I haven’t figured that out yet), 6 discs CD changer and a bunch of other stuff. Basically, I will be saving A LOT of money on gas. Also, my aunt gave me $15,000 as a loan (without interests) for the car.
So I got about $2000 for my graduation from relatives and all that. My mom took the whole thing, except for $300. I had to pay her back for the food, my new laptop, and my car insurance. I have no money because I also gave my boyfriend $100 for his dog (birthday present from me to him). I have work tomorrow, but I’m only going to work 2 days a week and that doesn’t help that much. I’m a little tight on money because of all the trips I’m going to be taking in August.
Here are my vacation plans for the summer:
- For the 4th of July, my aunts and uncles and cousins (mom’s side) will be going to Vegas. My uncle said that he will buy me a ticket for Vegas from 7/4-7/6. He didn’t buy it yet so I’m not 100% sure that I will be going. But here’s the other part, my boyfriend wants me to come to Fresno on those days. So if I’m not going to Vegas, he’s going to buy me a train ticket to Fresno. Either way, I’m going somewhere. If not, I’m sure my best friend wants to do something fun this year.
- Here’s the funny part. My other cousins (dad’s side) want to go to Vegas on 8/1- 8/3. I told them at the beginning of June that I can’t go because I have no money. So my aunt (dad’s side) heard this and felt bad. So she paid for my plane ticket ($300). This one I know I will be going for sure because everything is set. It’s funny because when she brought me this ticket, my uncle had just said that he will buy it, but he didn’t confirm anything with me. Since I can’t depend on him, I said yes, but I called my uncle today and he said that he will look up prices for me. So I don’t know about that. Plus, he didn’t directly say that he will pay for me so I’m not sure. Either way, I’m going to Vegas once or twice this summer.
- Then on 8/5, I’m going to Houston, Texas to visit my friend until 8/12. When I was buying my ticket today (my mom paid for it), my mom called my aunt to ask her some questions and my aunt asked if I want to visit them in Dallas.
- So on 8/12, I will fly over to Dallas and stay there until 8/19. My aunt paid for this one. On the 19th, I’ll return to San Jose.
- THEN, at the end of August. I think about the 27 or 28, I’m going to Disneyland and/or Fresno. I might have to pay for this one myself though, but still, it’s not that expensive. I might drive down with my friend and then fly back. My boyfriend is going to pay for Disneyland. Haha!
- Oh yeah, also near the end of July, I’ll be going to Fresno for a few days (not sure yet) and my boyfriend said that he will pay for that too so I don’t have to worry about it.
So yeah, those are my summer trips. Plus, my best friend and I will be going to the movies every week, eat out, clubbing, drinking, and maybe drive to San Francisco to visit my friend and maybe somewhere else for a baby baptisting thing. My summer is booked solid. No more trips until October. Haha! Yay!
Also, I need to take this time to intern at a Pharmacy, work to earn some money, and work on my websites. Plus, I have to hangout with my dog because she does not like to be ignored.
On top of that, I have all the non-fun stuff to do:
- summer school studying, homework, tests, and other crap
- apply for Pharmacy schools and Graduate schools
- study for the GRE and PCAT
- Clean my room (since I will be living at home for the next year), unpack, and rearranged crap
- take care of bills (parking, books, health insurance, etc)
- and anything else that I have to do
*sigh* So much crap!!!
